Adrian is a chartered accountant with over 25 years of experience working in Cape Town, London, Hong Kong and Sydney for global multinationals, including Arthur Andersen, BNP Paribas and Macquarie Bank.

Adrian’s 19 years at Macquarie provided a technical training ground in cross-border structured finance transactions, including exposure to taxation law, accounting standards and the regulatory treatment of complex financial instruments.

This work necessitated a mindset of constantly reimagining and reinventing transactions and structures in order to keep the business relevant. Working across geographic territories gave Adrian a tremendous appreciation and understanding of diversity in culture, needs and attitudes across individuals, teams and businesses.

This curiosity, creativity and innovation – knowing that nothing ever stays the same, particularly in financial markets – manifests in a can-do attitude when it comes to problem solving for clients.

This spirt of resilience, combined with financial innovation and thinking out the box, sets the tone for Reefine Capital’s approach in working collaboratively with clients and bringing them forward-thinking solutions to support their businesses.
